Emmanuel Kasseris is the co-founder and CEO of Emvolon. Emmanuel has over twenty years of experience in managing advanced technology projects and raising capital in the energy industry. He has led multiple new energy technologies from concept to full-scale pilot implementation while at Chevron and ConocoPhillips. Emmanuel holds a M.Sc. and a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from MIT.
Leslie Bromberg
Leslie Bromberg is the co-founder and CSO of Emvolon. Leslie has decades of experience in energy conversion and chemical processes as well as extensive experience in technology commercialization. He has licensed 6 patent portfolios (more than 90 patents in total) and has been the founder of multiple startup companies with successful exits. Leslie holds a B.Sc in Electrical Engineering and a PhD in Nuclear Engineering from MIT.
Vassilis Triantopoulos
Vassilis Triantopoulos is the Director of Operations at Emvolon. Vassilis has more than ten years of experience in prototype development for advanced energy technology projects. He has led teams and managed projects working with industry partners (Robert Bosch, GM, Volvo) and research institutions (SwRI, ANL). Vassilis holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
Yu Chen
Yu Chen is the Director of Research and Development at Emvolon. Yu has more than ten years of research development experience in energy efficiency of powertrains working with industry R&D teams, including withGM, Ford, BorgWarner, and Hyundai). Yu holds a PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Auckland, NZ.
Georgios Giannakakis
George Giannakakis is the Director of Chemical Synthesis at Emvolon. George has more than eight years of heterogeneous catalysis experience. He has had extensive collaborations with industry partners (Clariant, Johnson Matthey) and research institutions (Argonne, LLNL, ETH Zurich), and has published scientific papers at ‘Nature’ and ‘Science’ journals. George holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Tufts University.
Sofia Theodoridou
Sofia Theodoridou is the Chief of Staff at Emvolon. Sofia has more than fifteen years of experience in strategy development and execution, large-scale program management, and governance oversight at global financial institutions, including State Street, MUFG, UBS, and Zurich Insurance Group, as well as technology companies. Sofia holds a M.Sc. in Finance from Suffolk University and an M.B.A. from MIT.
Alexander Guarino
Alex Guarino is the Senior Engineering Technician of Emvolon. He has a vast knowledge of machining and welding that he demonstrates as an instructor at Shawsheen Valley Technical High School. Alex has over ten years of professional experience in the industry, and has been part of successful prior ventures with Emvolon co-founders.
Colin Pavan
Colin Pavan is a Senior Engineer of Emvolon. Colin has more than eight years of experience in testing and modeling chemical reacting gas mixtures and plasmas at MIT and in collaboration with industrial partners (ArcelorMittal, Toyota, UTC Aerospace Systems, Hatch Ltd. and D-Wave Systems). Colin holds a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from MIT.

Surya Guduru is the Head of Strategy and Business Development at Emvolon. Surya specializes in international market development, new product commercialization, partnerships and channel development, and project management. He has over two decades of experience in the energy equipment manufacturing, and engineering and construction sectors. Surya holds a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from the National University of Singapore and an MBA from the Singapore Management University.
